Well, in tribute to the good run that the Canucks put on for us, I made some cookies (with Jessica's assistance!) for Otto's class for the "day after." So, they lost. It's ok! Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final was a big deal - celebrate that, right? The class enjoyed them so that was great!
These are vanilla sugar cookies from, what else, the Blue America's Test Kitchen Book that I love so much. I made a basic royal icing using icing sugar, meringue powder, vanilla and water (just eyeball it!).
