It's a baby Jesus manger/nativity cake for an upcoming Kid's Christmas Party :-) I was a little torn when planning this cake - a little distraught by the idea of cutting up Jesus, but I solved this dilemma...by making baby Jesus out of Rice Krispy Treats! He can be removed from the hay covered manger before serving up the cake :-) A scratch yellow butter cake, covered in first chocolate fondant (think tootsie roll), and then covered again in yellow fondant "hay."
