A very impromptu cake for the kickoff party of our church's Faithweaver Kids Club . . . a midweek program for kids from K - gr.6, starting this fall! I decided to do a cake with our logo on it and made it all from start to finish in about 2 hours! It's handy ALWAYS having scads of butter in the fridge ;-) Made two 9x13 cakes, split and filled with chocolate frosting and covered completely in vanilla buttercream frosting! Decorations/Logo made with coloured fondant and tinted royal icing.
